This 60 min. documentary (work in progress)tells the story of the national foreclosure crisis through the eyes of hard-hit East New York - a community that is no stranger to tough times. As more and more homes in the neighborhood bear foreclosure signs, individual victims of egregious lending practices come to realize they are not alone, and find the strength to band together and save their community from catastrophe.

MORTGAGE VICTIMS FIGHT FORECLOSURE WITH POPCORN

Outdoor Brooklyn film Screening of 'Subprimed' with free popcorn.

In an effort to raise awareness to help avoid sub-prime/predatory lending schemes, filmmakers and victims team together to present an outdoor screening of the documentary in front of the houses they struggle to hold on to.

When: Saturday the 22nd, 7pm
Where: Dumont and Lincoln Avenues, East New York Brooklyn
