As more and more homes in the neighborhood bear foreclosure signs, individual victims of egregious lending practices come to realize they are not alone, and find the strength to band together and save their community from catastrophe.

Outdoor Brooklyn film Screening of 'Subprimed' with free popcorn.
In an effort to raise awareness to help avoid sub-prime/predatory lending schemes, filmmakers and victims team together to present an outdoor screening of the documentary in front of the houses they struggle to hold on to.
When: Saturday the 22nd, 7pm

Subprimed chosen to screen at Brooklyn Arts Council Film Festival
“Subprimed” has been chosen to screen as a part of Scene: Brooklyn, presented by the Brooklyn Arts Council Film Festival
It will be screened on Tuesday May 5 at Galapagos Art Space (16 Main Street in DUMBO Brooklyn) at 7 pm as part of a program focusing on current issues facing Brooklyn.
